Nestled in the hills behind the rural village of Milton with spectacular views of Pigeon House mountain and surrounded by lush dairy farms and national parks.
When traveling from the North
Drive south through the town of Milton where you will see a set of traffic lights (the only ones in Milton). The Rainbow Pie Shop is on the right.
Turn right at the lights (Croobyar Road) and follow the road for 2 km where you will see signs to Pigeon House Mountain (Rural Fire Station on your right). Do Not turn right here but follow this road for a further 12km until you see Wheelbarrow Road on your left.
Travel for a further 1.4 km where you will see a private road going off to your right with the Milton Country Retreat sign at the start of the road. Follow for 1.3km (as far as you can go) and you have arrived.
When traveling from the ACT or the south.
Exactly 45 km north of Batemans Bay, through Lake Tabourie (2km before you reach the Burrill Lake bridge) you will see a road to your left indicating to Pigeon House Mountain. This is Wheelbarrow Road.
Turn left into Wheelbarrow Road and follow for 6 km to the end of this road where it will join Woodburn Road at a T-intersection.
Turn left and travel for 1.4 km where you will see a private road going off to your right with the Milton Country Retreat sign at the start of the road. Follow for 1.3 km (as far as you can go) and you have arrived.
